Engineering practice areas
Five areas where we do the work ourselves, not only place the people who do it.
We work in five practice areas: AI agent development, Forward Deployed Engineering, Digital Product Passport implementation, circular economy software and supply chain traceability. Each combines placing vetted engineers with delivering the engagement directly where a client prefers that.
Where we go deep
A hiring platform can only assess what it understands. These are the areas we work in directly, which is what makes our vetting in them worth anything. Outside these areas we assess against general engineering criteria and say so.
AI Agent Development Services
Production agent systems with tool routing, guardrails, evaluation harnesses and a cost model you can defend.
Forward Deployed Engineering Services
Engineers who embed with your customers, turn ambiguity into shipped integrations, and shorten enterprise time to value.
Digital Product Passport Development
EU ESPR-aligned Digital Product Passports: identifiers, data carriers, structured data and tiered access that an authority can actually query.
Circular Economy Software Engineering
Life cycle assessment data, EPR reporting and material flow systems built to survive an audit.
Supply Chain Traceability Engineering
EPCIS 2.0 events and W3C Verifiable Credentials, so a supply chain claim can be checked rather than merely trusted.
Frequently asked questions
Do you place engineers or deliver projects?
Both, depending on what fits. Most engagements are placement: we match a vetted engineer to your brief and they work in your team. Where a client prefers an outcome rather than a person, we deliver the engagement directly in these five practice areas.
Why these five areas specifically?
Because they are where we have genuine depth rather than general capability. AI agents, Forward Deployed Engineering and the circular economy cluster are areas we work in ourselves, which is what lets us assess candidates in them credibly.
What is the connection between AI agents and circular economy work?
Less than it appears at first, and that is deliberate. They are two separate specialisms. The common thread is that both are newly defined engineering disciplines where generic hiring processes fail, because the assessment criteria have not been standardised yet.
Can you help if my project spans several of these areas?
Yes, and it is common. Digital Product Passport work frequently needs traceability engineering and circular economy data pipelines together. We scope those as one engagement rather than three, because splitting them duplicates the data modelling.
